First Hands (a First Church fellowship group of all ages that regularly volunteers together) will serve with the Greater Chicago Food Depository on Saturday, April 2 from 1:00-3:45 pm. New participants are always welcome.
Volunteers must be vaccinated, wear masks, and practice social distancing. We may be sorting produce or repacking bulk dry goods into manageable sizes for soup pantries, soup kitchens and shelters in Cook County.

Please email Rebecca Beiter at bob.beiter@comcast.net for detailed info and our group registration/waiver link. We can carpool from church, or the GCFD lot is open to volunteers on Saturdays if you prefer to drive yourself.
