First United Methodist Church of Evanston invites local singers to participate in our upcoming Festival Choir concert featuring Bach’s Cantata No. 147 and Willan’s cantata The Mystery of Bethlehem. Bach Cantata No. 147 was premiered 300 years ago and features the familiar chorale Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring (UMH 644).
Our first rehearsal will be Wednesday, October 11 from 7:30-8:10pm and rehearsals continue weekly until the concert on November 17th. Music will be provided at the first rehearsal.
