Calling all book lovers, storytellers, performers, and readers of ALL ages!
Our Change for Change recipient, Erie Family Health Centers’ Reach Out and Read program, is leading its annual Reach Out, Read Out! Virtual Storytime Series this March. This campaign is meant to increase awareness of and raise funds for its program, which provides free books to children ages six months to six years during their well-child visits.
In celebration of National Reading Month, Erie will share virtual book readings on Facebook throughout March. Check out the Storytime Series collection for inspiration.
Members of First Church are invited to become storytellers by recording their own video on a phone, tablet, or a computer. If you have a book in language other than English you’d like to read, you are encouraged to do so! (Their patients speak over 60 languages, including Spanish, Arabic, and Russian). We welcome storytimes read by all ages or multiple members of your family (e.g. caregiver and child).
Register here to be an Erie Storyteller and receive information on how to record and submit your video. Submissions must be received by March 15.Â
