Soup Kitchen
Dining RoomAs part of Interfaith Action of Evanston, First Church hosts a weekly soup kitchen each Thursday evening. A host team of First Church volunteers is needed each week, and 5-6 times a year we also need cooking teams. Interested in helping? Festival Choir Concert: Handel’s “Messiah”
SanctuaryThe Festival Choir and Orchestra of First United Methodist Church of Evanston present part 1 of Handel’s beloved “Messiah.” The concert is sure to usher in the spirit of the seasons of Advent and Christmas. The 7:30pm concert is free and open to the public.

Star Tree — Gifts for YOU
Fountain FoyerStar Tree is support for 100 children thru YOU who need holiday gifts. Please be prepared to spend $50 on the gift. Gifts are due on or before 12/8 at First Church.

Sunday School
Sunday School takes place before Worship from 9:15-10:15 a.m. from mid-September through May, with an emphasis on learning and responding to stories in the Bible through reading, conversation, and play. Sunday School is offered for children ages Pre-K-6th grade. Classroom locations are posted throughout the building.
