Zoning, Housing, & Faith Communities

by | Nov 6, 2024

What does zoning have to do with the high cost of housing or people experiencing
homelessness? Plenty, actually, but it’s complicated.
To help explain the impact, why faith communities should care, and what the City
of Evanston is considering doing about it, Interfaith Action of Evanston is hosting a
Gathering on:
• Tuesday, November 19 at 7pm
• Cunningham Hall at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, corner of Ridge Ave. and
Grove St.
Speakers include Mayor Daniel Biss, Pastor Luke Harris-Ferree of Grace Lutheran
Church, and Sue Loellbach, Director of Advocacy, Connections for the Homeless.
Please join us! Come listen, learn, and ask questions. All are welcome!
