On March 31, the First Church book group On the Same Page will gather for conversation on Lydia Millet’s A Children’s Bible (2020).  

The New York Times Book Review calls this book a “potent allegory” of climate change. Goodreads review speaks of  “Lydia Millet’s prophetic and heartbreaking story of generational divide” and “apocalyptic chaos.”  This book is a National Book Award finalist — and clearly not a bedtime story for innocent children. 

On the Same Page is a mixed-age group that gathers monthly for conversation around a book selection the group has chosen — often contemporary fiction.  New participants are always welcome.
