First Church’s Mission and Outreach team is again partnering with Habitat of Lake County to help build new houses in Waukegan on Saturday, Nov. 19. Join an adult team of up to 12 people to continue First Church’s tradition of missional outreach. Habitat of Lake County builds affordable homes with financing options to purchase if potential owners participate in the build.

The exact nature of our work is yet to be determined, but generally a range of basic skills and a willingness to work is all that is required. Habitat of Lake County does not require a registration fee so each person can make a voluntary contribution to Habitat if they are able. We will meet in the church parking lot at 7:00 a.m. to share rides to the work site. We will return around 5:00 p.m.
