Children Action Camp

Children in Action epitomizes the emphasis of our Children’s Ministry program. Children in Action Camp is a one-week summer day camp for children entering third through sixth grade that focuses age-appropriate mission work. Every morning, campers participate in a service project, such as serving food at a soup kitchen, visiting a retirement community, or cleaning up a park. In the afternoon, campers enjoy other activities, including trips to the beach.

During the school year, First Church children are invited to engage in various service projects as part of Sunday school, Children’s Chapel, and special occasions. In addition they are invited to serve in various roles at the church, such as acolytes for worship and as participants in Children’s Choir.
