On behalf of the Total Child families, I am writing to share some exciting news. Each year, we invite our community to support the Total Child Scholarship Fund, which helps make our school accessible to families who face financial challenges. This year, we are overjoyed to announce that we have received an amazing $5,000 matching gift from a former Total Child parent and current Church member!
This incredibly generous gift has energized our effort in a powerful way, and has set us on the course to meet the needs of our community. In the words of the donor:
“When I look back to our years at Total Child—27 years ago now—I see just how special a place it was for my son and for our family. My son, now 31, had the privilege of growing up in a diverse, vibrant community, surrounded by children from all walks of life. That diversity didn’t just shape his early friendships; it shaped the person he is today. I truly believe that the variety of people you grow up with becomes a fundamental part of who you become, opening your heart and mind in ways that last a lifetime.
“Today, it’s important to me to help make this experience accessible to other families, especially those who might not otherwise be able to afford it. Every child deserves the chance to feel safe, inspired, and part of a caring community. Supporting Total Child means more than helping an individual; it means nurturing a new generation and shaping a new circle of friends, leaders, and dreamers. It’s my hope that with my matching grant and through your generous contributions, we can ensure that Total Child remains a place where children can thrive and families feel embraced.
