Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for our Soup Kitchen Guests
Volunteers Needed!
One of the significant ways FUMC serves our community is through the Thursday soup kitchen dinners served to 60-80 people. Again, this year, FUMC will host the Thanksgiving Soup Kitchen that features home-cooked food provided by our members.
It’s easy to donate food –bring it to the church kitchen on Thanksgiving Day between noon and 12:30. You may donate ham, turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, rolls or a pie. Go to tinyurl.com/fumcfood to signup to bring one of the food items.
Volunteers needed to help at various times for short shifts on Thanksgiving Day between noon and 4:00 p.m. Review our needs and signup at tinyurl.com/fumcvolunteers.
Thanks to all for adding to the success of this year’s FUMC Thanksgiving Soup Kitchen dinner! Questions? Contact Ann Weatherhead (amweatherhead@gmail.com or 847-962-1508.
