Introducing the Premiere of the All-Church Bake Off!

Brought to you by the Membership Committee, the Bake Off idea came from a conversation about how we love the annual Chili Cookoff, how many good cooks/bakers we have at First Church, and how we would enjoy another opportunity to informally connect and “taste” the goodness that is First Church!

Paul and Pru (for fans of the Great British Baking Show) would call this Bake Off a “tray bake.” Enter your favorite cookie or bar recipe. Bake the recipe, cut/form into bite-sized pieces and bring to church on May 21.

Your cookies/bars will be served during “Cookie Hour” with the congregation voting for Best Bar and Best Cookie in three age categories: Baker under 11 years old; Baker 11-18; Baker 19+ years. Awards will also be given for Best Decorated, Most Colorful, Best Name/Theme, and whatever else we think up!
