This year marks First Church’s 100th Christmas Pageant. Children Pre-K through Grade 6 share the story of Christ’s birth through scripture and song. Presented within our worship service on Dec. 12, the children embody the Joy of the Third Sunday of Advent.
While much had changed since the first pageant (and even last year’s virtual pageant) the story remains the same. The pageant is organized and directed by Minister of Music & Organist Brian Schoettler in collaboration with Colin McDonald and the Children’s Ministry of First Church.
